The traditional start of the new chess season for members, The Lichfield Quickplay, will take place at The Guildhall on Thursday August 27th, starting at 7:15pm. Can anyone dethrone the reigning champion Ben Nevett-Farman?
Through July and August, remaining Lichfield Summer League fixtures will conclude, and social chess will continue every Monday at The King's Head. Don't forget also Mircea's training sessions scheduled for 13th July, 27th July and 3rd August, helping members to sharpen up ready for the 2026-27 season.
