Both venues are located in Lichfield city centre, with straightforward access by road via the A38 from Birmingham / Walsall to the south, Burton-on-Trent to the north, and via the A51 from Tamworth to the east and Rugeley to the west. The venues are about a 10 minute walk from both Lichfield City Railway Station and Lichfield Bus Station.

Derbyshire Chess Association venue: Burton Chess Club
Some Burton & Lichfield combined matches in the Derbyshire Chess Association League are hosted at Burton Chess Club. Matches are played at The Burton Bridge Inn in Burton-on-Trent on Mondays, starting at 7:30pm.
