Club Venues

Both venues are located in Lichfield City Centre, with straightforward access by road via the A38, A5148, or A5127 from Birmingham or Walsall from the south, via the A38 from Burton-on-Trent to the north, and via the A51 from Tamworth to the east and Rugeley to the north-west. The venues are about a 10 minute walk from both Lichfield City Railway Station and Lichfield Bus Station.

Parking in Lichfield

There are a range of local parking options within a 10 minute walk of both the Guildhall and King's Head venues.

These nearby car parks all offer free parking after 6:30pm:

Derbyshire Chess Association venue: Burton Chess Club

Some Burton & Lichfield combined matches in the Derbyshire Chess Association League are hosted at Burton Chess Club. Matches are played at The Burton Bridge Inn in Burton-on-Trent on Mondays, starting at 7:30pm.
