It's been quite a season for Albert Chacko. In addition to winning two internal Lichfield trophies, The Lichfield Internal Tournament (with an impressive 6.5/7) and the U1600 Lichfield Ladder, Albert also triumphed in the Cannock & District League's Robert Ward Plate knockout competition. He defeated Aaron Sohi from Rushall in the Final in April, and was recently awarded his trophy:
As the Captain of Lichfield's victorious Cannock Division 1 team, Albert is also currently in possession of the Division 1 trophy too, meaning his haul for the season looks like this!
Huge congratulations to Albert. He has played over 100 rated classical games in the last year, and continues to work hard at improving his chess. His ECF rating has climbed by over 400 points in the last four years, which is a fantastic achievement.
