We recently received an email from Paul Hodgson, one of the admins from Team Staffordshire on Chess.com, inviting Lichfield members to join their online correspondence chess club. Paul's email is pasted below. Thanks to him for reaching out to us. If you are interested, visit Team Staffordshire to find out more.
My name is Paul (username: Hoko), and I am the admin for Team Staffordshire on Chess.com.
We compete in the County Chess Championship leagues at U1300, U1600
and Open rating levels, as well as the County Championship Knockout
Cup, each season. All our matches are played through correspondence
chess on Chess.com.
We are currently looking to recruit new players to represent
Staffordshire, and players of all ages and abilities are very welcome!
One of the great things about correspondence chess is that it is
flexible and relaxed. There is no pressure to play in every match, and
members can choose to participate in as many or as few matches as they
wish. Our aim is to make chess enjoyable, sociable and fun, while
giving players the opportunity to represent their county and take part
in team competitions.
I would be very grateful if you could share this information on your
website, circulate it to your members, or pass it on to anyone who
might be interested in getting involved.
Anyone interested can find us on Chess.com using the link below:

Thank you very much for your time and help in spreading the word. It
would be great to welcome some new players to Team Staffordshire!
Kind regards,
Paul
