Stafford whitewash Lichfield 'C'
Wolverhampton and District League Division 3
Lichfield 'C' had started their Wolverhampton Division 3 season with two victories - albeit with the second of those being a defaulted match by their opposition - but were soundly beaten 4-0 by a strong Stafford team on Friday night.
The team of Francis Fields, Mick Horrigan, Bill Kimberley and Rob Frost were outgraded by an average of 150 points per board, but will still be disappointed not to have made the contest closer. (Match played: 2nd October)
