Lichfield's 'C' team in Wolverhampton & District Division 3 were defeated for the second time in October, as they lost 3-1 to Brewood at The King's Head.
David Hulme achieved a creditable draw on Board 1 with the Black pieces against Peter Thompson, and Francis Fields also drew on Board 2.
Sadly, defeats for captain Mick Horrigan on Board 3, and Bill Kimberley on Board 4, gave Brewood the match victory.
